Full Moon's Curse {Open}

Kitty's just finishing up an evening of meeting with some potential investors for the animal rescue when she feels the pull of her family curse. The moon slowly creeps up over the horizon and she lets out a soft "Shit!" All of this newness her aunt has forced on her has thrown off her inner calendar and she'd completely forgotten the full moon is tonight. There's nowhere near enough time to get back to the farm now. The prickles of pain that come from putting off her transformation are already starting up and they'll just get worse.

Letting out a growl of annoyance, she feels her way to an alley and ducks inside, shedding her clothes and thanking whatever gods care to listen that she hadn't worn anything she doesn't mind losing. Taking a deep breath and grimacing, she lets herself fall into the transformation. The pain of her body rearranging is dulled by her magic but its still incredibly uncomfortable and she'd curse her ancestors for getting such a stupid curse put on them if she wasn't so damned respectful. And then, finally, it's done. She's a wolf once more. Getting to her feet, she gives her body a shake and feels her fur settle into place and the cramps in her muscles ease. 

Kitty isn't sure how to handle this. Normally, she'd be in the forest, or at least farmland, when she transformed. The city is crowded and, though she isn't in the heart of it, there's a ways to go before she makes it out of town. It's going to be hell getting out without rousing panic when someone spots her, but she creeps to the edge of the alley nonetheless, sniffing at the air before she slips out and quickly pads down the sidewalk. 

ooc- I just felt like I had to do smth since its the Harvest Moon and a supermoon tonight~ Feel free to bump into Kitty on the street and freak or figure out who she is and help or just mess with her~

She can hear the bird take off and follows the sound, ears flicking about as it moves around. It moves back down above her and she figures that means its ready to go, so she takes off into the trees, following whatever scent that happens to catch her attention. Finding that none of the trails seem to lead to anything, she quickly loses interest and turns her attention to the swan.

Slowing down, she waits until she hears him move ahead of her before jumping up and snapping at his tail, coming away with just a stray feather.

Fabrice follows the wolf from where he can see it move between the branches of the trees he flies over and in between. He starts when the wolf nips at him, stealing a tail feather. For a minute, he looks indignant, flapping his wings impatiently. But then he nudges the wolf with his beak, coming away with a bit of fur in his beak. He lets out something of a squawking noise before taking off again.

Kitty lets out a bark of amusement, chasing after him in a weird, animalistic game of tag. Grabbing another feather, she darts between a small gap in the trees, just barely avoiding running into them with a stroke of luck. Feeling fairly safe from his beak here, she bounces around to face where he'd been when she got him, forepaws slapping the ground playfully and tail wagging up a storm.

This isn't the strangest thing that's happened to Fabrice, but it is strange, all the same. If he could grin in his current form, he would, as he flies from the wolf. The wind rushes straight through him, propelling him forward and adding to the rush of the entire experience. He circles around where the wolf paws at the ground, leaning down close before heading up once again, letting out another noise in delight.

Laughing inside, she follows the sound of the swan's wings through the forest, running until she's panting and her fur is full of leaves and sticks. Those are going to be a pain to get out when she's changed back, but it's worth it. This is the most fun she's had in awhile and she won't let a little messy hair ruin that.
